Common Core Decomposing Numbers Sorting Fun is the perfect way for students to practice decomposing double digit and triple digit numbers. Understanding how to decompose numbers is essential and a big part of the Common Core Math Standards.

-One sorting mat for double digit numbers
-One sorting mat for triple digit numbers
-10 no prep sorting activities for double digits (to use with the double digit sorting mat)
-10 no prep sorting activities for triple digits (to use with the triple digit sorting mat)
-Answer keys
-All numbers 0-999 for more sorting fun

Ideas for use:
-Print the sorting mat double sided (double digit on one side and triple digit on the other side) for each student. Laminate them so they can use them all year!
-Print one sorting activity and correct mat at a time and have students cut/paste
-Print all numbers 0-999 (make sure to print extra pages of numbers 0-20) and laminate them. These numbers and mats can be an easy activity for students to do during centers, etc.
