Description
These task cards are a great way to give your 4th grade students practice comparing fractions!
The cards are printed 4 per page and are available in both color and black and white. I’ve included a student recording page and a teacher answer key for your convenience.
INCLUDED:
•24 Task Cards (in both color and black and white)
•Student Recording Page
•Teacher Answer Key
STANDARD 4.NF.2:
Compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators, e.g., by creating common denominators or numerators, or by comparing to a benchmark fraction such as 1/2. Recognize that comparisons are valid only when the two fractions refer to the same whole. Record the results of comparisons with symbols >, =, or <, and justify the conclusions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
Although this center meets the above Common Core standard, this is NOT a Common Core specific skill! There is NO reference to the Common Core or the standard number on student pages, so this center is a great addition to any classroom!
