Description
These functions task cards are a great way for students to practice with comparing two functions. This activity includes a set of function cards and a set of task cards that you can using comparing functions in slope intercept form. There are four representations of slope intercept form including equations, graphs, tables, and written descriptions. Students draw a task card and then the task card tells them what to do with the function cards. This is intended to be used as a game for the whole class, in math centers, small group instruction, or cooperative learning groups.

My students loved this resource. They had great conversations which really made their understanding easy to see.
I had a math volunteer use these during EOG review and she loved them.
This was a great way to practice comparing various forms of linear functions (table, graph, equation, etc.). I had to make some adjustments to make it feel a bit more like a game, but overall great resource.
Great activity!
I love this resource and my students (who are very difficult to engage) were moderately engaged. They definitely struggled a bit as this content really requires them to dig deep but it was a good experience for them overall.
This made a great review for my advanced math students. Each round was different thanks to the set up of the activity. Lots of options on how to use them in class.
Love this!
