Description
This resource features tonic (I), dominant (V), and subdominant (IV) functions in D-Major. These three essential harmonic functions clearly communicate Major tonality as they outline its contrasting characteristics when compared to other tonalities (Mixolydian, Aeolian, Harmonic Minor, Dorian, Phrygian, and Lydian).
These materials were created to support music learning in the classroom by exposing students to notation in the way parents and caregivers expose young children to print. Whether or not your students have necessary readiness to bring meaning to notation, displaying notation will help students become familiar with it. For older students, these posters could serve as a reference for studying aural theory and theory in High School and College.
What's inside:
~Each poster has a corresponding roman numeral (e.g., tonic=I).
~Broken chord images with tonal solfeggio
