Instead of using the same few lists over and over or digging through pages of books to find the specific type each student needs, I create my own sets. Each set contains enough lists to progress monitor decoding and encoding for an entire school year!
This Decoding and Encoding bundle contains three different levels for goal tracking: vowel-consonant-e syllables, open syllables, and r-controlled syllables. Save yourself the time of trying to find single and multisyllabic words that fit your students' goals. This print-and-go resource could be used for practice or assessment all year long. Each list has a student copy as well as a teacher copy where you can document errors.
Each Decoding and Encoding resource includes:
- Student copies of 40 lists for decoding
- Teacher copies of 40 lists for decoding and 40 lists for encoding
- 3 lined paper for encoding
