This resource is designed to help students use color words to describe things. It can be used in several ways:
- Print sheets in color, place them in sheet protectors, and allow students to use dry erase markers to write in the color word and the noun.
- Print sheets in color, and give it to students as a worksheet to add the description on the line (in writing or as a cut & paste activity). Students can also trace the first words (“This is a”) and use the words on the bottom as a word-bank.
- Print sheets in color and paste in folders. Print the words on the next page and paste on a cardstock. Laminate the folders and words separately. Allow students to match the descriptions to the picture.
