Description

Writing with imagery is a skill that can be translated into many genres of writing. In this 3-day descriptive writing project, students learn how to write with imagery while describing objects they see every day! This is a descriptive writing project--complete with video instructions--that guides students step-by-step! Perfect for remote learning, maternity leave, and flipped classrooms!

With this product you will receive the following:

* 5 video lessons--(1 journal overview, 1-Review writing lesson on imagery, 1-Prewriting lesson, 1-drafting lesson, 1-revision lesson) The videos are housed on a google site.

* A digital student journal (8 slide google slide deck) complete with working slides for students to complete the activities described in the video lessons. The link to this slide deck is located in the teacher information pdf.

* Editable Teaching Presentation (11 slide google slide deck) This presentation will match most of the slides in the video lessons. You will be able to edit them to include your own examples or additional guidelines for your students. The link to this slide deck is located in the teacher information pdf.

If you make more of these types of activities I would purchase. My students found the activity really engaging, and the way you built the resource with videos and a clear notebook for them to work on made the entire process awesome. Thanks!
