This was such a relief to find! I'd been planning a different unit and had to change course at my principal's request. I've never taught creative writing so I didn't know what to do until I found this. The lessons are very thorough and I like that the slides are pre-made. The videos are good, though my students and I do wish they were a little faster (we play them at 1.25 or 1.5). There's a type on Entry 1 where it says 3 figurative language examples are required and in another place it says 2. Just decide how many you want and let your students know.

This resource was helpful for my students! We are entering in to our narrative writing project for the end of the quarter, so it was nice to have a unit to review with them to activate background information and get them excited to get into the planning process. This resource worked perfectly!
