Description

Digestive System Note taker

This booklet is meant to be used with your science

program on the digestive system. Students can

use information from their science resources,

websites, and videos to complete the note taker. The pages act as graphic organizers.

Teachers can also use it as a way to help students organize

the information they are learning about the digestive

system. It would make a great study tool to help students

prepare for their end of unit assessment on the

digestive system. It could also be used as a form of

assessment.

I have provided an answer key based on information I

will be using with my class (pages 11-16). Curriculum varies from

country to country so you may wish to make changes.

Please email me at janefeener@gmail.com if you have

any questions. See the preview to see what is included.

To create the booklet:

Print pages 4-10

Cut each page in half and place in the correct order.

Staple on the left hand side, and you’re ready to

start learning about the digestive system.

You can buy this system and three others in my human body system bundle.

My 5th grade ELL students were able to master the language and functions of the basic organs in the digestive system. I also cut out the organs and descriptives for TPR (total physical response) to increase engagement and oral descriptions for speaking practice.
