This digital activity helps students to master solving multi-step equations by completing math mazes in different Google Slides. Students complete a maze by dragging and placing arrows to get from the start of the maze to the exit.
This download contains three different mazes for teachers to use to differentiate their instruction.
Level 1 maze problems can all be completed in two steps. No answers will be negative. This maze was designed for students who are struggling to pick up this concept.
Level 2 maze problems require students to work with variables on both sides of the equation. They also may have to combine like terms and/or utilize the distributive property. Some answers may be negative. This maze was designed for the average student.
Level 3 maze questions also have students solving equations with variables on both sides. They will also have to utilize the distributive property and combining like terms. However, these problems are tougher than the maze 2 level questions. In addition, a student could get an answer that is "no solution" or "all real numbers." This maze was designed for stronger students as an enrichment activity.
Teacher answer keys are included.
This product is perfect for distance learning because teachers can easily share these mazes with their students through Google Drive.
