This digital activity helps students to master solve radical equations by completing math mazes in different Google Slides.  Students complete a maze by dragging and placing arrows to get from the start of the maze to the exit.

This download contains three different mazes for teachers to use to differentiate their instruction.

Level 1 maze questions were designed for students who are struggling to pick up this concept. To solve the radical equation, students will need to make very few and simple algebraic moves.

Level 2 maze questions were designed for the average student. In order to solve the problems in this maze, students will need to make multiple algebraic moves. To be more specific, students will have to be familiar with solving quadratic equations by using the quadratic formula or the factoring technique. Finally, at this level, students do not need to worry about extraneous solutions.

Level 3 maze questions were designed for stronger students as an enrichment activity. Students will have to make more algebraic moves than they did at level 2. In addition, after solving the problems, students will need to check to see if any of their answers are extraneous solutions.

Teacher answer keys are included.

This product is perfect for distance learning because teachers can easily share these mazes with their students through Google Drive.
