This listing is only for Digraph Short Vowel words.
*** The digraphs sh, th, wh and ch are used but only have one picture as they are representing 2 letters with one sounds. The picture for sh is shoes, th is thumb, ch is chair and wh is whistle. This allows students to use the appropriate sound associated with the letters.
Organization:
All sets have a theme. The theme is different for all sets. This is similar to fix it sentences so that your students can easily know what box set they are on. The recording sheet has the set picture on them to match set box cover. There are labels to the answer sheet so students know what color box goes with which numbers. There are labels for inside the large Iris Bin as well as for the "spine" of the small Iris boxes, making it even easier for students to find and return the boxes.
How I use this pack:
Students use the chart to determine what letter sound the picture starts with. They will then mix up the letters and find which word card it matches. Students will manipulate using magnetic letters. Then they will add it to their paper. There is an answer sheet to record the words on.
