Description

This set of 8th grade math (pre-algebra) binder notes provides guided notes for using the Pythagorean Theorem to find the Distance Between Two Points on the Coordinate Plane. For the notes section, students are guided through an example using a 3-step process, which is followed by 4 examples. On the back side, students are given another 6 problems, in which they will find the distance between two sets of points and with an extension of finding the perimeter of the given triangle.

Note: This assignment uses the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate the distance between points, it makes no mention of the distance formula!
