Description

This product contains three digital problem sets that are aligned to Grade 1 Eureka Math or Engage NY Module 3 - Topic A.  The problems were created using Google Slides and contain moveable pieces which act as virtual math manipulatives for students.  Use these engaging practice problems to reinforce learning from your lessons either through virtual learning or through a technology center.

This problem set was designed to meet the needs of all learners.  Slides were designed using simple colors and without distracting clipart to ensure that students with learning differences and those who receive special education services are able to focus.

This product includes:

  • Lesson 1 Practice - 5 problems ask students to determine whether an object is longer/shorter than another object.
  • Lesson 2 Practice - 2 problems ask students to determine whether an object is longer/shorter than another object; 1 problem asks students to determine longer/shorter than among three objects; 2 problems ask students to drag and drop to determine longer/shorter than between three objects.
  • Lesson 3 Practice - 1 problem asks students to determine longest path based on picture and story problem; 1 problem asks students to use a picture to determine the shortest/longest among three objects and to place the objects in order; 1 problem asks students to use a picture to determine longest/shortest between three paths, how many blocks traveled, and drag and drop to place in order.

These were a HUGE time saver - they were the exact lessons, so much so that I had to take some slides out or skip some in order to keep engagement high during distance learning with short attention spans. BUT it was great to have the option to decide what to skip, excellent resource.

Directly compare two objects with a measurable attribute in common, to see which object has “more of”/“less of” the attribute, and describe the difference. For example, directly compare the heights of two children and describe one child as taller/shorter.
Order three objects by length; compare the lengths of two objects indirectly by using a third object.
Express the length of an object as a whole number of length units, by laying multiple copies of a shorter object (the length unit) end to end; understand that the length measurement of an object is the number of same-size length units that span it with no gaps or overlaps.
