Description

Great for Science Distance Learning / Independent Work

Students of all ages love comics. In this project, students will create a comic strip that models the steps in the engineering design process. This project is a fun way to show how scientists solve a problem using the engineering design process. The comics will look great on a bulletin board or inside a binder or science interactive notebook.

Distance Learning / Google Classroom Use:

  • This project also includes a digital version of the direction sheet, rubric, and three comic templates. You can easily assign the digital version to students through Google™ Classroom or other secure applications where only your students have access.

What is included?

  • Student Direction Page (PDF and editable PowerPoint Template)
  • Rubric (PDF and editable PowerPoint Template)
  • 5 Printable Comic Templates
  • Printable Accordion Foldable
  • Digital Version — includes directions, rubric, and three comic templates. Students can type inside premade speech bubbles and add clipart to design a unique comic.
