Description

Exponents practice is the focus of this Footloose math activity ~ a fantastic way to get students moving and reviewing. This is a very easy-prep activity with high student engagement!

  • Students solve each of the 30 problems and record their answers in the corresponding boxes on their Footloose grids.
  • Exponents notes page also included

This easy-prep exponents resource includes:

  • 30 Footloose task cards (set with a background and a set without)
  • Footloose grid
  • Answer key
  • Coloring/notes sheet
  • Instructions

The Exponents Footloose task cards ask students to:

  • Convert expressions from expanded form to exponential form
  • Find missing exponents
  • Find the value of exponential expressions
  • Compare the values of exponential expressions

Thank you for this awesome resource! I used this for my math enrichment class. My 6th graders reviewed their knowledge of exponents. We did a quick review before hand, and then they did great with these task cards around the classroom. We checked our answers as a group at the end. Thanks for this activity!
