After practicing how to write and solve 2 step equations, students are challenged to create their own word problem and 2 step equation. Easy poster project activity! Students are challenged to get creative! They will come up with a product and an advertisement! The product must be sold in 3 different sizes, and they will calculate the unit rate for each. They will also indicate which one is the 'better buy' or best value! Great way to practice unit rates! An easy way to incorporate random acts of kindness with any group of students! I used it with my Junior Beta Club members, but could easily work in any classroom or grade level! They show all work on their bellwork paper. We go over answers as a class and they check their work. At the end of the 2 weeks, they turn their paper in for 20 points! Easy way to spread kindness around the school! I printed these out on different colors of copy paper (could also do on white as well), and had students decorate with stickers and markers (optional!) Then, they handed them out to students as they walked into the school! Definitely brought lots of smiles! :) Perfect for Valentine's day, random acts of kindness, kindness week, etc. Spread the love!!!

Voice levels 0, 1, 2 hang in your classroom to help remind students of their voice levels! I recommend putting these pages on top of colored copy paper or construction paper to really stand out!
