I love the various representations of the functions being matched. It's not so easy that they'll whip through the activity quickly. (The numbers is the tables aren't always the ones shown on the graphed line which is great!) BUT...there are two little things (errors) that would make it a little difficult for students to make those matches. On page 7 the top right table y-values should be 300 525 750 but it says 625 instead of 525. The bottom right graph on the same page needs negative signs on the y axis values. It looks like they got cut off. The biggest problem I had with this activity is the length of time needed to cut it out. You can't cut out more than one at a time because they don't match up well. It took multiple hours to create this. Also, the puzzle pieces don't "fit" together unless you remove a lot of the black border line. Many of my pieces needed adjustment even though I cut them out carefully and one at a time. It's a shame because I think my kids will LOVE this activity. Maybe others can just cut them into rectangles and have them overlap to match. That would be quicker. A digital version would be nice as well.

Hi Connie! You are never going to believe this, but I SWEAR it’s true... I pulled up this resource yesterday to use w my students and thought there is NO way I’m cutting out all of these pieces!! What was I thinking??? So I updated the product and made the pieces all squares/rectangles!! I also found that mistake in the table and corrected that, too!! I was planning to list the updated version this weekend with a note to everyone who purchased it. I’ll do it first thing in the morning. Thank you so much for your purchase and for your feedback! Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is the set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.
Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities. Determine the rate of change and initial value of the function from a description of a relationship or from two (𝘹, 𝘺) values, including reading these from a table or from a graph. Interpret the rate of change and initial value of a linear function in terms of the situation it models, and in terms of its graph or a table of values.
