Description

Students will factor 10 trinomials by using the greatest common factor (GCF). This product goes way beyond the traditional cut and paste activity! Students will cut and glue their answer to their worksheet, then use the dashes and dots located at the top of their answer to decode a letter using the Morse Code translator. Once they’ve gotten all 10 letters, they will use the letters they found to help crack the code!

If you would prefer a digital version of this activity, made for Google Drive, please click here!

Please Note:

•The final code at the end makes for easy grading!

•The questions are similar in structure, so students can’t figure out their answer by process of elimination.

What's Included:
Student worksheet, cut outs, Morse Code table and answer key are included!

Even high schoolers like cut and paste activities:). They were engaged and I loved the discussion it promoted.

Cut and paste helps keep the kids engaged. Easy to use and even easier to grade rather than attempting to read students' handwriting.
