Description
Engage your students in some fun first grade math activities with this packet of ten fall themed centers. Build and strengthen student math skills with practice in number order, making number comparisons, addition, subtraction, sorting activities, equations, measurement, and more! The worksheets include numbers to 50. Use the printables at an autumn center in October and November for independent and partner practice for guided and independent math stations.
Each of the centers has a directions card and recording sheet(s). Center choice pocket chart cards, a student menu, a fall 100 chart (colored and black and white), and pumpkin counters (colored and black and white) are also included.
The fall math centers include:
- Pumpkin Fun Number Order - write the missing number that come before and after the given numbers.
- Barrel of Pumpkins - sort the greater than and less than statements into true and false categories.
- Fall Sunflowers Matching Combinations - match the dots on the dice to the number combinations.
- Acorns for Squirrels More and Less - determine the number that is 1 more, 2 more, 1 less, and 2 less than the given numbers.
- Falling Leaves 3 Number Addition - add the dots on the 3 dice on each card. Match the totals to the numbers on the leaves.
- Autumn Leaves Addition Facts - add the numbers.
- Fall Acorns Subtraction Facts - subtract the numbers.
- Scarecrow Plus and Minus - determine the correct sign to make each equation true.
- Fall Friends Ten Frames - determine how many more dots are needed to make ten.
- It's All About Fall Measurement - measure (in leaves) the length of each black line on the fall picture cards.
