Description

These 10 Computer Programming Problems help teach students the basics of how to read written computer code. The students follow basic command codes that instruct a character how to find his way to a destination. These unplugged problems work great with students just beginning to learn code or even those preparing to take the AP Computer Science Principles Exam. If you use Scratch or Code.org or any other programming language, this is great practice for students learning to read code on paper. If offers a chance for the teacher to receive feedback as well as a chance for students to discuss the code and defend their solution. In this Football Theme set of problems, A Football Player is trying to score a touchdown. Following the code, see if the player does score a Touchdown or does he get tackled instead.

High engagement! The only caution I have is that you need access to a color printer.
