Description
Looking for hands on math center ideas? Looking for independent work ideas for the resource room? Do you have a student that needs a little extra practice with fractions? These fraction puzzles are just for you! This product also goes along with the Common Core State Standards!
This product includes 32 puzzles. One piece of each puzzle is a fraction up to eighths. The other piece of the puzzle is a picture of the fraction. I found these very helpful when starting to teach fractions. This can help students to get the idea that the numerator is the parts used and the denominator is how many parts are in all. I love using puzzles like this with math centers in the resource room because they are good practice and the kids think they are fun. They are a nice change from the same old paper and pencil work.
These can be used for centers, morning work, hands on practice, and so much more.
