Description

Looking for hands on math center ideas? Looking for independent work ideas for the resource room? Are you starting to teach your students about using rulers and measuring? Do your students get antsy and need to move around in a structured manner? This product is for YOU! This product also goes along with the Common Core State Standards!

This product includes 24 cards with pictures to post around the room, a recording sheet, and an answer key. Each card has a picture of an object and a line for the kids to measure. The starting line to measure is green and the kids stop at the red line. These objects are meant to be measured to the nearest centimeter. They are a nice change from the same old paper and pencil work. This is a great center idea for the kids to be able to get up and move around while continuing to learn.
