Students will apply the properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions. For example, applying the distributive property to the expression 3(2h – p) + 2(h + 3p) to produce the equivalent simplified expression. Each answer occurs twice, once with a number and once with a color. The matching color can then be used to color the picture in a fun color by number activity.
