Description
A set of 4-8 worksheets and a quiz on geometric terms, designed for third grade level.
This is a multi-version pack, with A and B versions for your convenience: the A version has 8 worksheets before the quiz and has a slower progression through the concepts, while the B version has only 4 worksheets before the quiz and combines some concepts in a more rapid pace. You'll find pdfs of both versions in the zip file, along with a third pdf explaining the letter variations in more detail.
Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.
I created this to use with my tutoring students; if they've forgotten or never learned how to label geometric terms correctly using letters and symbols, these worksheets always give them the practice they need to help cement that in their minds.
Also available:
Geometric Terms for third grade (teaches basic circle terms but not labeling geometric terms with letters)
Geometric Terms for fifth/sixth grade (teaches line direction - horizontal/vertical/oblique as well as basic reasoning with line segment length)
This set of worksheets was created by Destiny Woods. You can find more Individualized Math worksheets here. To see all my other products, visit my store.
You can find this product (along with the answer key) included in my Individualized Math complete fourth grade bundle.
