Description
Geometry Writing Prompts: Math Journal or Interactive Notebook Writing Prompts for Geometry!
This product consists of 52 writing prompts to be used in a geometry class. These prompts encourage students to think about their math and school habits, describe mathematical processes, and how to be successful in your math classroom.
These are great for early finishers, use as argument writing prompts, in interactive notebooks, or to use as writing prompts to mix up the regular routine once in a while.
Some examples are:
Explain the difference between area and perimeter. Choose one and write a word problem about it.
Compare and contrast a line, a line segment, and a ray.
Compare and contrast translations, reflections, and dilations.
To improve my geometry quiz/test scores, I could…
Write a multiple choice question about the segment addition postulate. Explain what mistake(s) would lead to each wrong answer.
AND MANY MORE!
