Share

Description

In this lesson, students will learn how to graph a line using one point and the slope. Students will explore how one given slope can have equivalent fractions to help plot more points, and move forward and backward on a line.

Prerequisite Skills:

  • Plotting ordered pairs on the number line (all 4 quadrants)
  • Understand positive and negative slopes as increasing/decreasing lines
  • Convert integers into fractions (to use rise over run)

Students will:

  • Plot the given point
  • Use the slope to plot multiple points on the graph

Included in this purchase:

  • Blank copy of notes (1 page front & back)
  • Answer Key
