Description
This Graphing Linear Equations Coloring Activity 8th Grade Math Summer Worksheet will motivate your students to practice graphing lines in a coordinate plane! Graphing slope-intercept form, standard form, or point-slope form equations will be easy to assign with 3 differentiated versions included within this set of linear equations worksheets.
Each of the 3 worksheet options includes 8 multiple choice problems, each with three answer choices to choose from:
- Option 1: All 8 equations written in slope-intercept form, y=mx+b
- Option 2: All 8 equations written in standard form, Ax+By=C
- Option 3: All 8 equations written in point-slope form, y-y1=m(x-x1)
The following characteristics are included:
- slopes: positive and negative fractions or integers
- y-intercepts: zero, positive, or negative integers
- axes: have a scale of one, from -10 to 10
- coordinate points: located in any of the 4 quadrants or on an axis
Students complete the color by code activity by using their answers as they solve each problem to color one of the included coloring sheets:
- EARTH DAY: a picture of a heart overlapping Earth with the text "Love Our Planet"
- SUMMER: a picture of sunglasses, a popsicle, and balloon with the text "Sunshine on my mind"
