Each student is given a unique game mat and a deck of 16 number cards. The mat indicates the desired place for students to round each number and students sort the numbers into 4 buckets. The repetitive nature of the game will build mastery in a quick and exciting way.

For example, the game mat might say "Round to the Nearest Hundred Thousand" and students would receive cards like 1,678,239 and 1,834,213 and have to decide which bucket to place each number in (1,600,000 or 1,700,000).

Each set is equally split between numbers that round up and numbers that round down. Half of the games round to the greatest place (i.e. round 23,241 to the nearest thousand) and half of the games round to another place (i.e. round 678,233 to the nearest thousand).
