Description

Math is best learned in real life situations. This projects puts students into the real life situation of budgeting for holiday spending. Students spend an imaginary $100 (or pounds or euros). There are 3 versions to allow you to easily change the currency. The project focuses on the skills of addition, subtraction and estimation (rounding). It is a great in class project, but can also be sent home over a holiday break. Includes grading rubric. This project is now available in a printable version and a Google Classroom version.
