This Identifying Fractions Demonstration / Practice Set is an excellent resource to introduce, examine, review, and provide a hands-on resource for student practice, or for those needing help understanding the basic fraction. This set is great for classroom, homeschool, and/or distance learning.

This set contains only pages to help students identify and understand fractional parts. It does contain equivalent fractions, etc... It is designed to be used for a basic understanding of what a fraction represents.

I have included a PDF file and Google Drive digital slides.

Included in this set:

• 12 reference Pages - These pages include "parts of" circle fractions and fraction strips/tiles, (halves / thirds/ fourths), numerator and denominator, and images that show that not all shapes can be divided into fractions.
• Try It! Printable Black/White Activity - UNLABELED Demonstration / Practice - The fraction set contains the half, third, fourth, fifth, sixth seventh, eight, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth fraction circles with dashed lines for cutting, a work mat, and a recording sheet.
• Try It! Printable Black/White Activity - LABELED Demonstration / Practice - The fraction set contains the half, third, fourth, fifth, sixth seventh, eight, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth fraction circles with dashed lines for cutting, a work mat, and a recording sheet.

(I have included both unlabeled and labeled Try It! Fraction Circles because I realize students may need differentiation).

• Black / White Version of the 12 reference pages. The black / white version is included in the PDF file only. The Google slides are in color. The PDF contains both versions.
