Description

This is the eleventh lesson in my Place Value unit. It is designed to introduce the class to rounding. After reading a story about Max, the lesson then moves to interactive activities to check for the students understanding of the concept. Max is designed to be moved by individual students who come up to the board to display their answers and explain their reasoning. There are many practice slides for multiple students to be in charge of placing Max in the appropriate place and then coming up with an answer, making this lesson interactive for every student in the class.
*I have used fonts from a website to get a creative look for this lesson. If you would like the lesson to be formatted as I have it, I would recommend going to the following website and downloading the free fonts.
