These Data Collection and Bar Mini Math investigation worksheets have been designed to be completed by teachers that have limited time. The Graphing activities provides fun math rotation centers and learning opportunities for students to use their maths in hands on work.

Each activity/ task includes an "I can" statement for the students to know what they need to achieve. They also have a highlight and go teacher assessment at the bottom of the page, allowing teachers to be able to quickly see where each student is at with a glance.
Tasks included in this pack:
- Find out about your classmates (a generic form to be used again and again) -Column and Line graph options
- How much litter/ trash do we have in the school? - Column Graph
- How do we get home from school? - Column Graph
- What will the weather be this week? - Line Graph
- What is your favourite colour? - Bar Graph
* These sheets are able to be used by both USA and AUS/UK classes. In the one activity where the world colour has been used another page has been added at the end with 'color' and 'favorite'.
These tasks can be used in many ways, including:
- Used at the start of a unit of work to look at student's prior knowledge.
- Math centers (maths centres)
- Group work
- For fast finishers
- At the end of a unit of work to assess if students are able to transfer the skills learned during instructional time.
- Fun projects for students to complete for homework.
