This Converting Measurements Lesson is the perfect way to teach your math students how to convert between customary and metric units of length, weight, and capacity.

I use the PowerPoint lesson to teach my students about units of measurement and how to convert between units.

The Measurement PowerPoint Includes:

  • 138 Slides
  • The lesson is scaffolded; therefore, it builds upon itself. It starts by reviewing both customary and metric units of length, weight, and capacity before teaching students how to convert between the units.
  • By the end of the lesson, students will be able to solve two step conversion word problems.
  • This PowerPoint is visually engaging - it includes a video and various website links to keep students engaged.
