Application problems are included throughout the modules to work on applying strategies and reinforce skills through problem solving. We have taken the "RDW," "read, draw, write," process and put it onto paper so that students have a hard copy and something hands on to use to figure their problems out, rather than just a whole group problem to be completed on the board or smartboard. These problems work great for individual, partner, and small group!
