As a culminating project the students chose a Greek God or Goddess and presented a project of choice to the class. All students participated in presenting their God or Goddess, as well as in guessing who each God or Goddess being presented was. This was a fantastic and fun way to wrap up the Listening and Learning Second Grade Domains on Ancient Greek Civilization and the Gods and Goddesses.

Application problems are included throughout the modules to work on applying strategies and reinforce skills through problem solving. We have taken the "RDW," "read, draw, write," process and put it onto paper so that students have a hard copy and something hands on to use to figure their problems out, rather than just a whole group problem to be completed on the board or smartboard. These problems work great for individual, partner, and small group!
