Multiplication features four different types of questions related to the standard:
•Multiply by multiples of 10, 100, and 1000: Students are given a multiple of 10 and asked to multiply it by a 1-digit number using mental math. Example: What is 60 x 4?
•Multiply 2-, 3-, and 4-digit numbers by a 1-digit number: Example: 573 x 2. Students will need to work out their answers on scratch paper.
•Multiply two 2-digit numbers: Example: 42 x 88. Students will need to work out their answers on scratch paper.
•Solve multiplication word problems: Students read and solve multiplication word problems. All problems involve multiplying two 2-digit numbers. Students will need to work out their answers on scratch paper.
