This resource would be great in learning centers, during small group instruction, or as a Response to Intervention (RtI) lesson. You can also use the task cards with the whole class and play SCOOT or Switch!

Multiplication features four different types of questions related to the standard:

Multiply by multiples of 10, 100, and 1000: Students are given a multiple of 10 and asked to multiply it by a 1-digit number using mental math. Example: What is 60 x 4?

Multiply 2-, 3-, and 4-digit numbers by a 1-digit number: Example: 573 x 2. Students will need to work out their answers on scratch paper.

Multiply two 2-digit numbers: Example: 42 x 88. Students will need to work out their answers on scratch paper.

Solve multiplication word problems: Students read and solve multiplication word problems. All problems involve multiplying two 2-digit numbers. Students will need to work out their answers on scratch paper.
