This resource has been a fantastic addition to my classroom and has quickly become one of my go-to tools for both instruction and reinforcement. From the moment I opened the file, I could tell that a great deal of thought and care went into its design. The layout is clean, visually appealing, and easy for both teachers and students to navigate. I especially appreciate how clearly the directions are written, which makes it simple to implement without needing a lot of extra explanation. One of the biggest strengths of this product is its versatility. I have been able to use it in whole-group instruction, small groups, and even as an independent activity. It adapts well to different learning styles and levels, which is incredibly important in a classroom with diverse needs. I’ve also found it useful as a review tool, a formative assessment, and even as a quick extension activity for early finishers. Having a resource that can serve multiple purposes like this is a huge time-saver. My students have been highly engaged while using this product. The content is presented in a way that feels accessible and not overwhelming, and I’ve noticed that even some of my more reluctant learners are willing to participate. The structure helps guide them through the material step-by-step, building confidence as they go. I’ve also seen an improvement in their understanding of the concepts we’re working on, which is always the ultimate goal. Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to prep. As a busy teacher, I don’t always have time for complicated setups, so having a resource that I can print and use right away is invaluable. If you prefer digital options, this product can also be easily adapted for online learning platforms, which adds even more flexibility. Overall, this is a high-quality, thoughtfully created resource that I would absolutely recommend to other educators. Whether you’re looking to introduce a new concept, reinforce skills, or provide meaningful practice, this product does it all. It has made my planning easier and my instruction more effective, and I’m confident it will do the same for others. I will definitely be looking for more resources from this creator in the future!

Apply and extend previous understandings of multiplication to multiply a fraction or whole number by a fraction.
Interpret the product (𝘢/𝘣) × 𝘲 as a parts of a partition of 𝘲 into 𝘣 equal parts; equivalently, as the result of a sequence of operations 𝘢 × 𝘲 ÷ 𝘣. For example, use a visual fraction model to show (2/3) × 4 = 8/3, and create a story context for this equation. Do the same with (2/3) × (4/5) = 8/15. (In general, (𝘢/𝘣) × (𝘤/𝘥) = 𝘢𝘤/𝘣𝘥.)
Find the area of a rectangle with fractional side lengths by tiling it with unit squares of the appropriate unit fraction side lengths, and show that the area is the same as would be found by multiplying the side lengths. Multiply fractional side lengths to find areas of rectangles, and represent fraction products as rectangular areas.
