This simple yet great set on learning the Scientific Method..
Over the years I have realized that although my 5th graders just simply LOVE taking part in science experiments. They struggle to complete each of the steps involved in the scientific method and don’t understand its importance. They really struggle to understand how to apply it in answering the questions and solving the problems. So, I have decided to change it and learning it shouldn't be boring!
This file includes the following:
♦ page # 1 - a title page;
♦ page # 2 - a poster;
♦ page # 3 - a worksheet with QR code;
♦ page # 4 - the possible answers of a worksheet;
♦ pages # 5 - 8 - flashcards (1/2 size of paper);
♦ page # 9 - colorful scientific method foldable (8 large windows with heading);
♦ page # 10 - possible answer for the foldable;
♦ page # 11 - b&w scientific method foldable (8 large windows with heading);
♦ page # 12 - teacher's guide for foldable;
♦ pages # 13 - 15 - teacher's guide to "Watermelon Science" mini project;
♦ pages # 16 - 20 - watermelon foldables for the project to apply the scientific method;

This type of activity allows students to be creative in learning Scientific method. It is an open-ended way to develop organizational and artistic skills and encourage scientific discovery!
