Circuit Instructions

1. Print out all of the slides (cardstock or regular paper will be fine). You may choose to laminate them for durability.

2. Randomly place the signs around the room (mix them up, do not place them all in the order they print out). You may tape them to the wall or place them on the tables/desks.

3. Students may begin at any location. They will read the question on the sign and find the answer on another sign around the room.

4. There are 3 options for student recording sheets (details on following pages).

5. When students find the answer, they will write the answer to the question.

6. Students will then read the next question that is located at the bottom of the sign and then proceed to find the answer around the room.

7. This process continues until the students have completed all of the questions and answers.

8. If completed correctly, the students should START and FINISH the activity at the same sign (make a complete “circuit”).

I have used several of these circuits in the bundle to review a concept. I like that there are different choices on answer sheet types to use. The 9th graders stay engaged the whole activity.

I have used these in the past ans like having a digital version. Very flexible that I can remove some of the harder components and still have students complete a digital scavenger hunt.

I used these for an end of course review to prepare for state assessments. I laminated the cards and students worked in small groups to put the cards in order.

This transforms my first period students from barely awake zombie mode to fully engaged attentive students. Very engaging, if they are stuck, I give each student pair two opportunity to consult the answer key. I am looking forward to use the remaining resource for my upcoming units on EM Spectrum, Waves, and Forces and Motion.
