Students will use the scientific method to learn about insect structure, habitats and optimal environmental factors with this science experiment resource. Your students will be engaged in a memorable learning experience with this scientific method activity.

Scientific Method Bundle- Bugs Unit and Seeds Unit

This resource contains two investigations.

One investigation is led by you as a guided experiment. Students gain exposure to new concepts, and practice following the scientific method as the teacher models quality questioning, writing and procedural techniques.

The second experiment releases some of the independence to the kids as they design their own investigation to learn about an environmental factor of their choice.

This resource includes:

  • Frayer model vocabulary graphic organizer
