These guided notes are in a *we do* then *you do* format for notes on simplifying radical expressions. It starts with simplifying square roots of numbers by factor ladders, and then works up to cube roots and variables. Like most of my guided notes, I have left blanks for students to fill in so they don't move too far ahead and make mistakes.

Print pages 1 - 2 front to back for a class handout. (Day 1 block)

Print HALF of the copies you need for pages 3 - 4, front to back. Then cut the paper in half. (Day 2 - only 1/2 block)

Great extra practice for the kids on radicals, set up was good and easy to use. It's always great to have extra problems available for review sessions.
