What others say

"I appreciate having HORIZONTAL tables for students to practice! This is an area I have been struggling to find resources. Also, having the riddle with all of the slopes in simplest form helps my students self-check."

Alison C.
"Students enjoy the riddle problems. Only has 3 problems where the y-intercept is given. The other 13 they have to find it from the table. Harder then what I needed it for. "

Description

Who doesn't like to solve a little riddle? This activity allows students to practice finding slope from a table along with a BONUS of finding the y-intercept as well. When they are finished, they will use their slope to answer the riddle, "Why is the letter 'A' like noon?" The activity can be broken down into numerous ways; practicing only slope, only y-intercept, both and then your choice on when they solve the riddle.
