It's Spring! Yay! It's time to say Goodbye to Winter and Hello to Spring!

These fun writing activities will get your kids excited about changing from Winter to Spring!

Your kids will have fun reading: It's Spring! during Shared Reading time. The photographs are eye catching showing the changes between the seasons. You can even print the Powerpoint poem, laminate and bind it together to create a book to go in your Reading or Poetry Station!

You can read the It's Spring reader during Shared Reading, giving them more ideas about Winter and Spring things. The word/picture cards are great for putting in a pocket chart as you discuss what to say goodbye to...and hello to...

There are 2 different books that your students can make with this writing activity. There is a flip book that you can print front/back and uses only 3 pages. Directions are in the file on how to print and put together. The kids will love getting to draw and write about saying goodbye to Winter things and Hello to Spring things in the book. The other It's Spring! book is simple to print, staple, and it's ready to go!

There is a Tulip shaped writing activity also included in this file. It is a cute way of displaying their work on the wall. They can use the Spring word/picture cards to write about Spring! These look amazing displayed on a bulletin board or wall!
