Description

Need a before Spring Break activity? Or do you want your students to practice math skills over their break? This CSI math activity is perfect for both. Your students will enjoy solving for which teachers took away Spring break! There are 5 total activities:

  1. Clue 1 - Students solve Pythagorean Theorem problems to find out which suspect was tall enough to reach the school calendar.
  2. Clue 2 - Students solve multi-step equations with negatives.
  3. Clue 3 - Students solve for the slope from a graph or table to find out hair length.
  4. Clue 4 - Students work with scatter plots to identify association, outliers and an equation.
  5. Clue 5 - Students decode a message by solving for the volume of cylinders, cones and spheres.
