Spring is definitely here! Students are needing their pragmatic skills more and more with the extra recesses they are getting. Here is a social skills/problem solving/critical thinking pack for your students. Play this game with any, some, or all of the 5 included card decks. Each card deck targets its own skill, including identifying cause/effect, predicting, initiating conversations, how to find out more information, and identifying problems/finding solutions. Select your game pack(s) and use them as task cards or play the game provided. For the game, students take turns choosing cards. If they get a spring card, they must listen to the situation on the card answer the question on the bottom. They may also find a rain cloud that makes them lose a turn. If they can find the sun, the flowers are growing, and they earn an extra turn. The student with the most cards at the end is the winner.
