Description
This bundle contains 4 resource packs for students to master stoichiometry as they work to convert grams into volume (dm³ at STP conditions) and concentration (mol/dm³) and familiarize themselves with limiting reactant and percentage yield questions. This will give your students the practice they need to master and become confident with stoichiometry calculations.
This is an ideal in-class activity, revision, homework, independent practice, or summer/winter break assessment. This will lay down a solid foundation your students need before they work on stoichiometry (more resources are coming soon)!
NOTE: The British curriculum primarily uses 24 cubic decimeters (dm³) at RTP conditions.
Regardless of the grade and curriculum of your students, our resources can be used with students doing general chemistry, IGCSE Chemistry, As/A-levels Chemistry, or IB Chemistry SL/HL.
NOTE: The following resource contains the same questions but with different units (L or dm³) and conditions (STP or RTP). If you want to buy only one, check out our shop and the links below!
(1) Stoichiometry: L in STP - Volume, Concentration, Limiting Reactants, % Yield
(2) Stoichiometry: L in RTP - Volume, Concentration, Limiting Reactants, % Yield
Our bundle contains: suitable for the British curriculum.
(1) Grams to Volume (dm³ at RTP conditions): These are packed with 15 independent practice questions. For the Level 4 Practice, students will do three-way conversions between mass (grams), number of particles, and volume of gas at RTP (dm³).
(2) Grams to Concentration (dm³ at RTP conditions): These are packed with 12 conversions and 15 independent practice questions. For the Level 5 Practice, students will do four-way conversions between mass (grams), number of particles, volume of gas at RTP (dm³), and concentration (mol/dm³).
(3) Limiting Reactants and Percentage Yield (dm³ at RTP conditions): These are packed with 12 independent practice questions. For the Level 6 Practice, students will focus on the conversions between mass (grams), the volume of gas at RTP (dm³), and concentration (mol/dm³), and solve limiting reactants and percentage yield questions.
(4) Stoichiometry Mixed and Challenging Problems (dm³ at RTP conditions): These are packed with 10 questions and put your students’ skills and understanding to the test.
All the answer keys are included at the end of each resource pack.
