Description
This rubric is a student-friendly simplified version of the PSSA informative writing rubric. It is brief and clearly communicates expectations and scores to students. The rubric features areas for students to self-assess, assess and help peers improve, and the teacher to assess. It can be used for 3rd to 5th grade.
It can be used in multiple ways. There is an area for glow (what the student did well) and grow (what the student could improve on). This can be used by the student themselves, peers during peer editing, or the teacher during grading or conferencing.
