These Boom cards use the gradual release of responsibility to build student's understanding of subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. The first cards guide students through finding the LCD and subtracting, and then gradually scaffolds are removed until students are completing the problems with no supports. These cards are interactive with sounds and images, and students will love filling in the blanks and choosing the correct answers. Boom cards are fun!
