Engage your elementary students in math with this simple, Pac-Man themed, Geometry game - Transformation Pacman! The perfect activity when introducing rotations, reflections and translations or as ongoing revision game - just like my students, your students will be begging to play this game daily!
How to Play:
- Students draw a transformation card to determine how Pac-Man will move (rotation, reflection, or translation).
- Roll a dice and apply the transformation to move through the maze.
- Collect dots while avoiding ghosts as you travel around the board.
- The player with the most dots at the end of the game or time limit wins!
- For an extra challenge, students can complete multiple transformations before each move.
